Main parts of these devices is a Microcontroller Unit (MCU) and sensors. A wide variety of MCUs and sensors are used. Sensors are connected to MCU via data bus. MCU is programmed to process data from sensors. Data from devices are periodically transmitted particularly using LoRa radio network to data servers. The devices have low consumption and are mostly powered by LiPo battery charging by small solar cells.
